6 Reels Transitions For Your Business | Instagram Reels People WANT To Watch
Reels are such a fun way to reach new audiences on Instagram. And one of the ways you can make your reels more eye-catching is by using transitions in your videos. So today I'm going to walk you through the importance of reels and some really fun transition ideas. And make sure to tune into my YouTube video linked below this post to watch how I create each one. Make sure you stay until the end because I include a really fun bonus transition that I haven't seen a lot of people use yet.
Hi my name is Megan, and I help business owners go from confused to confident on social media. I help you create a loyal community, get quality clients, and build a more profitable business. So before I go straight into the ideas, I want to walk you through why reels are so important to use as a business owner on Instagram. Number one is the most obvious, is increased visibility. Instagram's algorithm actually prioritizes reels so it's more likely for them to show up on other people home feeds and explore pages. So the main place that people watch reels is on their reels tab. And if you're scrolling through there, you'll see that most of this content is from people that you don't know yet and that's the same when you post a reel, it gets shown primarily to people who aren't following you. Number two, reels are a really fun way to showcase your services and your products in a unique way. Whether it's demonstrating some new features or showcasing client experiences or even just sharing the benefit of working with you, reels will be a creative way for you to effectively capture your audience's attention and be able to communicate your value to them in a different way. And lastly reels are really important because they showcase your personality and your relevancy as a business owner. Reels are the perfect way to showcase your business's quirks and how fun you are as a business owner, but it also shows them that you keep up with the trends and you're willing to meet them where they are. Because reels are the new and trendy way to reach your audience when you're showing up out of your comfort zone and providing them with content they actually want to watch it shows that you care about your audience and you're willing to meet them where they already spend their time.
Okay let's get into the reel transitions (watch my YouTube linked below to see how to actually create these!) These are listed from the easiest types of transitions to the hardest type so if I were you I would attempt the easier ones first and then work your way down the list and go into the harder ones once you feel comfortable with transitions. Reels with transitions in them are a really great way for you to capture your audience's attention and keep them watching a video longer than they normally would. Whenever I come across a reel that has a transition in it, I almost always re-watch it because it just looks so cool and it's very visually pleasing to see something that looks like magic happen on the screen. And with today's really short attention spans it helps to have something that will catch people's eye other than just what you're saying.
Number one is a hand swipe transition.
Number two is a snap transition.
Next up is the tap transition. (best for products)
Next up is the shake transition. (best for products)
Number five is a wall transition.
Your bonus transition involves your flashlight!
I hope that was helpful, I know reels transitions can be a little bit more challenging than just a regular reel but I find that it's really fun to make these and you get to be creative and try something new and it's really a great way to capture your audience's attention and make them watch the whole video so they can see your transition. And if you struggle to have the time to create all of these reels I really recommend batching your content. Batching is when you create a certain amount of reels in one time frame instead of spreading it out and creating one per day. And if you want to learn more about how to do this I do have a guide that walks you through the process step by step. Thank you so much guys, and as always I will see you in the next post!
